Our Mission
Our mission at JBMS is to instill in our students a life-long love of learning, an appreciation of their innate talents and abilities, and the confidence to master future challenges. JBMS, imbued with the Jewish tradition, prepares the students to be independent and competent, mindful of themselves and others, and socially engaged.
Our Vision
Our vision for JBMS is to create a learning environment that allows the children the space to follow their curiosity, the tools to develop new interests and knowledge, and the freedom to learn without fear of failure or criticism. We envision students happily coming to JBMS , eager to learn and confident in their ability to succeed. We appreciate the uniqueness of each student and realize the importance a positive school experience has on the child’s future
Our Values
- Independence
At JBMS, we give our students the tools and skills to work on small tasks independently. Their early successes give them the confidence to trust themselves, to trust their abilities and to gradually progress and take on greater tasks and responsibilities. We understand the importance of successful learning experiences, moderate the tasks to the child’s ability and refrain from all criticism and pointing of failures. This learning process gives the child the independence to learn from his mistakes without fear of authoritarian interference, to know that the process is valued more than the results and to take pride in his work.

At JBMS, our philosophy is to give the students numerous opportunities for success, for success breeds confidence. Children who are confident are secure in their sense of self and are open and willing to try new experiences and take on challenges. In the social realm too, the child will approach new friendships and social interaction with confidence and faith in his social abilities. This allows the child to be socially giving and connected and prepares him to have a rich and meaningful social life as an adult.
